AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN MEDICAL TEACHING
“BEST MEDICAL TEACHER AWARD” of “Maharashtra University of Health Sciences” (MUHS) for the year 2008. (The Dr Sharadini Dahanukar Memorial Award). This award is given to the medical teacher who is adjudged as the best teacher for the year, out of all faculty teachers of almost 50 medical colleges under MUHS, in the State of Maharashtra, for his / her excellence in teaching, academics and research.
ACADEMIC AWARDS AS A STUDENT

- Certificate of Honour and Rolling trophy for the” Best all round student and sportsman” of the college, in 1976.
- Dr. C Mani memorial Gold Medal for best work in rural health (Social & Preventive Medicine / Public Health), during internship, 1977.
