1. Chief of the Army Staff Commendation, awarded on 15 January 1983. The award was in recognition of the “Outstanding dedication to duty, exemplary professionalism and for setting an example for other colleagues”, while serving as “Regimental Medical Officer with an Army Infantry Battalion (9 DOGRA), in a “special military operation” in Tirap / Nagaland area, from 9^th to 13^th  November, 1981. 
2. Chief of the Army Staff Commendation, awarded on 15 January 2008. The award was in recognition of the “Outstanding dedication to duty, exemplary professionalism, and for setting an example for other colleagues”, while serving with Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune as Professor & Head of the Department of Community Medicine (Public/ Health / Preventive Medicine), for excellence in teaching and research.  
3. General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (Northern Army Command) Commendation, awarded on 15 January 2006. The award was in recognition of the “Outstanding dedication to duty, exemplary professionalism, and for setting an example for other colleagues”, while serving with a large Army formation, in the insurgency affected areas of erstwhile Jammu & Kashmir, as “Senior Advisor in Public Health / Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology”, for excellence in public health and medical care for the troops and civilian population. 

“Well-Done Award” by General OfficerCommanding (Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh Army Area)Commendation, awarded on 02 April 2003. The award was in recognition of the “Outstanding dedication to duty and  exemplary professionalism” while serving at Jabalpur Cantonment as  “Specialist in Public Health / Preventive Medicine & Epidemiology”, for excellence in public health and medical care for the troops and their families.
